Make a donation to the National Ambulance Center
Money goes much further in Nepal than in developed countries. A donation to the Ambulance Center has a far greater impact than if it were used in a developed country. Please help the Ambulance Center save countless lives by providing the people of the Kathmandu Valley with access to fast, effective emergency medical care.
You may give to the National Ambulance Center in a number of ways.
(1) Contribute to the Ambulance Center’s fund for financially needy patients.
To make superior emergency medical care truly available to everyone in the Kathmandu Valley, patients who are unable to afford ambulance services will not be required to pay. To make this possible, the Ambulance Center is in need of funding. If you would like to provide destitute people with access to adequate health care, please donation to the Center’s fund for disadvantaged patients. You will receive reports about the treatments and life-saving measures that your contributions have made possible.
(2) Give directly to the Ambulance Center.
Your donation to the Ambulance Center can enable the purchase of essential medical equipment and educational materials, such as oxygen masks, backboards, splints, and bandages. Additionally, you can provide for the start-up costs of the emergency medical system and support further growth and development of the Center.
(3) Sponsor an ambulance.
Your business or organization can sponsor an ambulance. For the duration of the sponsorship, your company logo will be put on the vehicle to acknowledge your generous contributions.
You can contribute by check or credit card through Helping Hand for Nepal’s donation page. Helping Hand for Nepal is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible for U.S. citizens. 100% of your contribution will help the Ambulance Center treat and transport the sick and injured of Nepal.
If you give by check, be sure to write on the check that the donation is for the National Ambulance Center, and indicate if you want to give to the fund for needy patients or donate to the program directly. If you make a contribution by credit card, please follow the link for credit cards on Helping Hand for Nepal’s donation page, and type National Ambulance Center (and whether you want to give to the needy patients’ fund) in the box for “Designation”.
Helping Hand for Nepal supports projects that improve health care, education, and water supply available to the people of Nepal, as well as special one-time-need projects. The organization has no overhead and is run entirely by volunteers, so all of the money donated to Helping Hand for Nepal benefits projects in Nepal.
