How you can help
The National Ambulance Center can provide excellent medical care and fast transport to all emergency patients in the Kathmandu Valley. But for the program to succeed, it needs your support. In Nepal, small efforts have large and far-reaching consequences. Any assistance you can generously give will have a substantial impact toward improving emergency care in Nepal.
The Ambulance Center is particularly in need of:
- Donations for the purchase of needed equipment and for treatment for destitute patients, and corporate sponsorships of ambulances (company logos will be put on ambulances)
- Contributions of equipment for EMT training, ambulances, and the dispatch office, including:
- first aid supplies
- training manikins
- computers
- ambulances
- Medical instructors to teach EMT courses – Volunteers from the United States as well as Nepali instructors.
- People who can research potential funding sources for the Ambulance Center
